We're going to be a part of a Down syndrome study

The University of Denver (DU) is going to be doing a study on Down syndrome and how younger kids learn (and could learn better). The age bracket for the study is 2.5 - 5 years old - from my understanding, the study will be 10 months long and we will be monitored a few times during this time. I will be trained a particular way to read a story (I believe it's just reading, but will find out more later) - from what it sounds like, this way of reading/teaching will help Libby to learn better.

I talked to one of the leaders this afternoon and we are eligible and I will meet with the head of the study on 11/24 to get all of the information that I need (they are also sending me a bunch in the mail as well).

Here's a link to the news story about it:

I will update as much as I can on this topic - it definitely intrigues me!! I hope this helps Libby!!!

That's pretty neat! I'd love to hear how it goes!

So Kim, I’m stopping by to let you know that I’m hosting another Favorite Ingredients Friday Soup Edition recipe exchange today! You participated last year and I’d love it if you’d participate again this year with another one of your favorite soup recipes!
