The Van

Chris is sad - the minivan that he so loved has been totalled!! While he is sad, Mom and Dad are happy, happy campers!!!!

We have our insurance thru American Family and they have really treated us well thru all of this. We're assuming that our claim will go thru arbitration since the semi truck driver says something completely different than both Scott and the witness. We're running it thru our insurance now, but will get our deductible back once the case has been ruled on.

They are moving mountains to get things done now - we're hoping to be in our new van sometime next week. We are heading back to the Honda dealership and getting "another" Honda Odyssey. I truely think that we are all alive today thanks to that very sturdy van. We are getting a few hundred $$$ less than our purchase price - which is excellent!! Considering that we now have to buy a new 2008 (since we took the last 2007), it will still cost us a few $$$ more, but I'm at peace with that now!! Just happy that all is working out OK!!
