THE NEW VAN!!! WOO HOO!!

I don't think I celebrated the "other" new van enough - maybe it didn't know how much I appreciated it. Maybe I was just a little down at the fact that I was now the driver of a mini van and not my beloved Camry any longer.

Now that I've been without the "other" van for a month, I COMPLETELY under appreciated it.

Since Scott travels so much, we've just had the Camry to drive - we've had to load everyone up and take/pick up from the airport a few times, but nothing too bad.

We picked up the 2008 Honda Odyssey on Tuesday evening. I talked to the sales guy a few days before to set up a time and to have him do A LOT of the leg work before-hand. I mean, it's not like it was a tough sell. They did a great job - literally just about $120+ more total $$$ for a year newer car - he did his work. (For those that have asked, the 2009's are not in yet, but I'm sure they're making room for them).

The color is officially GREEN, but it's a fairly sparkly silver (it's that gray/green color Ted!!)

I appreciate the Navagation system, the DVD player, extra 8th seat, place to plug in the Wii on long trips, the iPod hook-up that the other didn't have, the million cup holders that it has (literally, something like 18 cup holders). I am now a proud mini-van owner and driver.

**PS - I did find a penny on the car lot and picked it up for luck - it was even dated 1969, the year I was born. That's gotta mean something, doesn't it??
