I was happy and sad today regarding the democratic nominee for president. I'm sad to see Hillary suspend her campaign as I would have LOVED to see a woman running this country - I think a woman would do wonders right now. I've always said that my Mom would do a great job running the country as she wouldn't let anyone get away with an unbalanced budget (who's Mom would think that would be OK) and would make sure that everyone respected everyone while trying to make the US a better place to live.

The economy sucks now, health care sucks now, housing market sucks now, (I could go on and on) - we need someone to make some changes in this world.

My Dad is 75 years old and has been a republican as long as I can remember -- last year, he was frustrated and registered as an independent. Good for you Dad!!!

I have a really good feeling about Obama - I would love to see Hillary as his running mate, but I don't think that will happen, just my gut. I think he is going to win and will make some great changes in this country. I think the country could use some positive influence and hopefully the Clinton supporters will stand behind Obama with as much drive and conviction as Hillary did in her speech today, then we can have a better country - YES WE CAN!!

I can't wait to see what happens next!!
